Cedar Cottage Park in East Vancouver
This site is named after the district of Cedar Cottage. The district was named after British native Arthur Wilson who acquired thirty to forty acres of land in the east side of Vancouver. Here he cultivated a nursery and market garden and built a home made of cedar - hence the moniker of the area as Cedar Cottage.
